Opened in 2014, La Parisienne is Lisbon's first French bistro, located in the Chiado district. The warm atmosphere is typical of inner Paris and you will enjoy genuine and simple food, including homemade foie gras with fig chutney, lentil salad, creamy veal stew, hand-cut steak tartare or duck confit. Dessert lovers will revel in chef Xavier Charrier's offering: chocolate profiterole, tarte Tatin straight from the oven or poached pear in Porto wine with a vanilla ice cream scoop. When the weather is nice, which is not that unusual in Lisbon, take a seat on the terrace: it gives onto the small and bright Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro square.
